CBD Labels: What you need to know!
How much CBD does it contain?CBD is measured by milligram(mg). A HempX 1 oz/30mL tincture bottle contains 30 servings, 1 mL per full dropper. To find the dose per serving of a 1500mg CBD oil tincture you would simply divide 1500mg by 30mL to get your answer of 50mg CBD per serving.
Does the oil have flavoring?Choose a tincture that has natural flavoring or check out reviews on flavored tinctures to see what others thought of the flavor before committing to purchasing it. HempX’s 1500mg CBD Oil and 1000mg CBD oil is available in natural, citrus and strawberry flavors.
Is there an ingredients list available?Check the ingredients list to find out what type of carrier oil is used to make the tincture. Common carrier oils include Fractionated Coconut Oil (MCT), Hemp Seed Oil, Avocado Oil, Olive Oil, or Grapeseed Oil.
Are there any test results available for the CBD?Always make sure there are third-party lab results available to avoid buying something that is not from the US.
Does it contain THC?Check the label for what kind of CBD is in the tincture; Full Spectrum, Broad Spectrum, or CBD Isolate. A Full Spectrum tincture oil is going to contain some amount of THC, and Broad Spectrum oil will not.
Full Spectrum vs. Broad Spectrum vs. Isolate
Full Spectrum: CBD extract that contains other naturally occurring compounds from the hemp plant, (such as CBN, CBG, THC) and terpenes. Terpenes are aromatic compounds found in many plants that often determines the strains or “flavors” in the Cannabis/Hemp industry. Full Spectrum CBD products cannot contain more than 0.3% THC in order to be federally legal.
Broad Spectrum: The only big difference between Broad and Full Spectrum extract is that Broad Spectrum does not contain any THC. Broad spectrum oil still contains other compounds and terpenes but it is put through an additional remediation process to get all of the THC out.
CBD Isolate: Pure Cannabidiol (CBD) with no other compounds or terpenes. Isolate is CBD in its raw, extracted, crystal form.
You may also hear the term Entourage Effect when you are looking for CBD info and here’s what that means… The Entourage Effect is a theory that proposes CBD is more effective when it is taken along with other cannabinoids, including THC. You could say the Entourage Effect is an enhancement of your Endocannabinoid System (ECS) through the use of multiple cannabinoids. The more diverse cannabinoid content in Full Spectrum CBD can help to maximize its benefits for experienced users. Beginners may get overwhelmed and may want to start out by using a Broad Spectrum oil with no THC. Broad spectrum tinctures are also preferred by those who may be tested at work or for use with pets.
Here is the HempX Lineup of Broad Spectrum CBD Oil Tinctures
"Will buy again as soon as I run out! I’m fairly new to CBD, but since I heard great things about this company I gave it a try! I have noticed that this product significantly reduces my anxiety, especially in the morning when I typically get jittery/nervous about everything I need to do for the day. I feel so fortunate to have found this! Will order again!”
“My wife has tried many tinctures from others, she says Hempx has the best quality!”
“I've tried a many different flavored CBD oils which all taste fake, so I tend to opt for the unflavored variety. But this strawberry one is awesome! Actually tastes like real strawberry.”
